Important information
How much walking is there?
At some stops, we’ll be getting off the bus to walk around the neighborhood for an immersive experience. These stops usually last up to 30 minutes.
What is the rescheduling policy?
We understand plans change. We offer a 100% refund or the option to reschedule up to 24 hours prior to your tour start time. Within 24 hours of your tour, we would have incurred hard costs and therefore cannot allow rescheduling or cancellation without costs.
When should I get there?
Plan to show up 15 minutes early. The tour starts promptly, and you may not be able to catch up if you arrive late.
What if it rains?
Our tours run rain or shine. If there’s extreme weather and we have to cancel, you’ll get a full refund.
Are gratuities included?
Tips aren’t included but are always appreciated by our guides. If you think your guide did an outstanding job, a tip is a great way to show that.
Is this tour accessible?
The bus can provide storage for a wheelchair, but guests must be able to walk five steps to board the bus.
Highlights
More information
We’ve curated an exclusive itinerary for this guided NYC bus tour that lets you explore the best highlights of our city by land and sea. Soak up the energy, sights, and sounds of New York as you see it all in less than a day!
You’ll start your day in Rockefeller Center with a guided tour past The Rink, Prometheus statue, and Radio Music City Hall as you discover this “city within a city” up-close.
Then you’ll board our comfortable, climate-controlled minibus — and we do mean comfortable. Relax on triple-cushioned leather captain’s seats as you listen to your tour guide on surround sound and enjoy the views from a panoramic front window and frameless coach windows. Your dedicated guide will point out sights, share stories, and more as you ride and alight with you for guided stops en route. (Note: Your professional tour guide is separate from our professional bus driver, so the driver is focused on the road while your guide is focused on you.)
We’ll head south on the famed 5th Avenue, passing through the Diamond District and Koreatown to make our first stop at Madison Square Park. Named after James Madison, AKA the Father of the Constitution, Madison Square Park provides a spectacular view of the Empire State Building and an up-close look at the Flatiron Building.
As we continue south along 5th Avenue, you’ll pass through vibrant and unique neighborhoods — Greenwich Village, SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy, and Wall Street. Learn about their history as your guide points out the sights.
We’ll stop at the Whitehall Ferry Terminal for lunch, then board the Staten Island Ferry for a trip around New York Harbor with your guide, passing by Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and a breathtaking view of the NYC skyline.
Our next stop is to pay tribute at the beautiful and emotionally gripping 9/11 Memorial before heading back uptown to the Hudson River. Pass by the towering Vessel sculpture at Hudson Yards as well as Columbus Circle, Time Warner Center, and the Lincoln Center before we arrive at Central Park.
Here, enjoy a guided walk to Strawberry Fields and view the “Imagine” tribute to John Lennon, former member of the Beatles. You’ll also have a great view of the luxury Dakota apartments where John Lennon was infamously assassinated.
The finishing stretch of our tour will take us through the Upper West Side and pass by the Natural History Museum. We’ll ride through Central Park and come back down on 5th Avenue past the Metropolitan Museum.
Our tour ends at Times Square. If you want to stay to catch a show, dinner or other attractions, your guide will have plenty of insider tips for things to see and do.
